Making Mud
This is a long  (14 min) complete demonstration of making Earth plaster.  I made it hoping to dispell the mystery of making this ancient and wonderful substance.

Principles
The Sandgarden is based on the principle that one can build a habitat out of waste and do so for so little money that one can mostly remain at home and live sustainably rather repay a 30 year loan by working unsatisfactory jobs.  This video explains why and how.

Greywater Overview
Shows simulation of natural water cleaning features including wetlands, streams, ponds, gardens, and reservoir. This was accomplished by an old man with a shovel and is contained within our 'footprint' of 3,000 ft2 (4.5 min).

Greywater Tour
Sandgarden Dick offers a tour of the greywater system.  In nature, water is cleaned by flows and agitation and by filteration offered by plants and animals.  At the Sandgarden, we have simulated the natural features which support this cleaning process.  There are many desirable consequences of doing this and they are described in the video. (8.5 min)

Chicken System
Describes how we transform kitchen waste to garden topping in a week, place nest boxes within the kitchen, provide security, share heat with the solarium, and find great amusement. (6.5 min)

The Omelette Loop: A tour of Lynda's Herb Garden
Lynda takes you around the "omelette loop" in order to demonstrate the Outdoor Kitchen System.  The tour begins by collecting eggs from the Chicken System and then gathering herbs in the garden before closing the loop to cook breakfast.  (3.5 min)
